Based on what I've heard here I would think it would be on Oct 1st when they get the pricing guides. That gives them almost 2 weeks to review and plan numbers before orders open.
I know I'm going to get a lot of complaints about this post. I highly doubt that any dealer will show you their cost on the RS unless you know someone very high up in the dealership. But I have seen crazier things on this forum so why not ask. The dealership has the right to make money on you just like every other product you buy in life is marked up from cost. The ADM is wrong and I don't think anyone should pay that but you should pay MSRP. A car is no different from the food you buy in the store. They all have markup cause companies have to make a profit to pay their employees.Who knows, or when will, anyone know how much Ford will be charging dealerships for the 2016 Focus RS? I'm assuming we may end up finding this out on 10/12/15? Anyways, Post here if you have any info. Thanks!
You're not wrong everyone has to make money, but in some cases the markup can be a little steep...I know I'm going to get a lot of complaints about this post. No complaints here, I get that dealers have to make a profit to keep their doors open. I'm fine with paying MSRP, however I won't pay ADM. I just figured if we could get some info on dealer cost from another forum member it would be a bargaining tool.I know I'm going to get a lot of complaints about this post. I certainly do, especially if some dealers start adding ridiculous 5-10k ADMs LOLDo you really think the dealers are going to start giving bargains when they have no stock? Maybe if and repeat IF there are any on the lot come end of year. Do you think that will happen?
Which dealers you working with? I assume the 8 RS one is Kirkland Ford...I just spoke with two different dealers. Knowing that they get the documentation tomorrow and ordering starts in less than two weeks. I started the negotiation phase. One dealer knows he will be allowed three on the first round and the other knows he is allowed eight. I posed the question to them both. "what am I expecting to pay"? Dealer with three said 3k over sticker.... I told this to the other dealer and he said "I will see what I can do, and call you tomorrow". The point is, neither have people putting money down yet. Lots of talk but no deposits. More so, the ADM is not in stone. It can be pushed if you press them.
Just doesn't make sense. I spoke with 4 different dealers and 3 said MSRP 1 said they will see based on demand.Which dealers you working with? I assume the 8 RS one is Kirkland Ford...
My local dealer didn't have a problem with MSRP. They said if they have one sitting in the show floor, their posted price will be higher than MSRP, but all orders would be MSRP...Just doesn't make sense. I spoke with 4 different dealers and 3 said MSRP 1 said they will see based on demand.
Kirkland was off its rocker! They stated "it will have a significant mark up" but wasn't willing to tell me over the phone?!?! A friend said he herd 10k. Bowen in Renton is getting eight BUT! it sounds like all dealers are not getting all at once. And Bowen told me last night they had not decided how much the ADM was going to be yet but it was going to be more then I was told elsewhere. I was told twice that the total allocations (8 for example) is to be in phases. So ask about that specifically. As much as I hate it, on principle alone I am paying a ADM. 2500. But I have been waiting for three years for this so 2500 is easy enough to palletWhich dealers you working with? I assume the 8 RS one is Kirkland Ford...
