Looks like a diesel estate, actually houses a 325hp ST engine...
This build thread has been on our radar for quite some time. Having read about the car online, we saw it in person at our Goodwood Sunday Service and then again at Ginetta. In true sleeper fashion, only Michelin Pilot Sport 3s on the steel wheels hint at what is lurking under the bonnet. Where a 1.6 diesel engine once resided a 2.5-litre turbo ST engine sits running 325hp and 388 lb ft. Pretty potent.
The OP Chris has put a lot of work into this project, keeping the car looking as standard as possible. He even went as far as leaving it grubby not to attract attention. The grey cloth interior from the Focus ST has found its way in though.
If you weren't lucky enough to see it at a Sunday Service or you just happened to overlook it, now's the time to catch up! Pour yourself a cup of tea, crack open a packet of biscuits and immerse yourself in the 24 pages of this build thread. Congratulations Mr Chr15 G, your Ford Focus ST sleeper is our PH Reader's Car of the Week!
