As the owner of a Challenger you would throw this out there for me.
Hands down the Charger. You'd have to ride in one to understand, and those that pooh the fact it's not a standard haven't driven the new A8 with the paddle shifters. And if it did have a stick it would be the same notchy Tremec as the Challenger, Camaro and Mustang.
I have a 6 Speed Challenger. Nice, but not worth not buying the car because it had an auto.
Charger wins in all categories except the handling because it's a bigger heavier car made for a different purpose. With my Challenger as an example:
Interior: Heated leather bolstered seats that doesn't need a stringbean to fit properly.
Power/Performance: It'll put a smile every time on your face. Tends to get picked on by cars much slower thinking because it's big it just must be slow. Solid probably high 12's car.
Handling: Solid driving car. It's a Grand Tourer, not a boy racer. It'll haul 5 full grown adults with luggage all day with headroom and legroom to spare.
Fuel Economy: Highway keeping my foot out of it I can routinely see 26-27mpg. Average city/hwy mix about 21.
