Ford is releasing a series of Focus RS tech vids over the next few weeks - here's the teaser!

Forget the Mission E, the Jaguar F-Pace or the Bentley Bentayga; the big news from Frankfurt was that the Focus RS would cost less than £30K and hit 62mph in 4.7 seconds. Just in case the excitement wasn't running high enough!

But we're still a little way from driving the Focus RS, and customers won't receive their cars until next year. Sure, it will come round quick enough, but there will be plenty more to say about the car before then. Ford will be doing this through a series of tech vids, covering everything from design to crash simulation to Arctic testing. Naturally because this is a fast Ford, Lord Block will feature at some point too.

The Ford teaser is predictably rather dramatic but it looks set to be an informative and entertaining series of vids. Over the coming weeks we'll feature the best of these as the Focus RS gets closer and closer - enjoy!

Ford actually has done this before, and so has GM. They know people like us, with vehicles like this, go crazy over the little things. This though is by far the most elaborate set of Videos for making a vehicle I have seen if that list is correct.

“Rebirth of an Icon” shows the development of the latest generation of an automotive icon through a “warts and all” video documentary series filmed during every stage of the vehicle’s evolution.

The inside story of the all-new Focus RS pulls no punches, following the car across the world as Ford Performance engineers and drivers put it to the test under the scrutiny of RS consultant and Gymkhana superstar Ken Block, as well as Ford’s Group Vice President, Global Product Development, and Chief Technical Officer Raj Nair.

“The Focus RS is a unique performance vehicle with an incredible heritage.
