I have these gel badges. Not really happy with them. They don't cover the entire badge. You can still see the chrome border. And they are starting to peel.

I've sent you a pm. Interested in the nb pair.

They are pretty easy to remove, its more just being nervous about scratching anything than actually hard to do.
Nothing mechanical.

They are secured with double sided tape and a set of molded plastic pins that seat in holes for alignment.
I don't think the pins have clips from the factory but perhaps, the OE new badges don't have any clips etc.
Just use a pry tool or a small screwdriver with a soft rag to get an edge started. Pry underneath and gently pull up
Then go round and round prying. I used some goof off to drip in there and soften the sticky tape
Ive seen some guys just muscle it right off in one go, snap.
When you pull them off, everyone seems to break a post or two, it's not a big deal.

They re secure fine after cleaning off the old sticky tape and applying good quality 3M tape.
The new ones are secured the same way, with double sided sticky tape.
Some heat from a gun after applied and they are on there pretty good.

No video, too easy

Yeah that's where it started for me.
I just didn't love the gels, ok at first but after a bit I thought it looked well, like a sticker....
so I figured this out....

are you able to a set painted like the post above? i think that may look good on a SB
Yes I can do just about any combination, paint and masking if needed.
I've also been playing with the 'Anno' paint that simulates annodization.
An anno purple might look good....anno gold on a black car with gold wheels...

I could also prolly hydrodip some for some crazy color schemes.
Been learning to hydrodip and large pieces are still challenge but smaller stuff is easier.
