Im in OP yellow headlights, flag on the roof? If so, that's me. I'm gonna try and make a few New Era events this summer, made it out to a few in Erie last year. If you can make the trip the Misery Bay region SCCA sets up down at Lake Erie Speedway. It's nice to get on the banks, compared to a flat track. Nice to know there are a few more RS in the area.
There are a few of us! I'm pretty sure I've seen BethVader in the wild.

For track time, Toronto Motorsports Park isn't too far away and has reasonably priced open track days. The track isn't actually in Toronto, despite the name. Further east is the Canadian Tire track, which is great but a bit more pricey.

Though a bit of a drive for you folks in the Buffalo area, WNY SCCA has an event at Seneca Army Depot on June 2nd (with a test and tune the day before). For those not familiar with the site... It's massive. Tons of pavement, with some concrete. Lot's of room for larger set-up and plenty of run-off (at least for the most part).

The location might spoil you for other events sites, but I enthusiastically recommend it. That's true regardless of which local SCCA region is responsible for the event: WNY, Finger Lakes Region (FLR), or Central NY (CNY).
Buffalo area- 2019 Solo Schedule & Registration
Rochester area- https://www.flr-scca.com/autocross
Syracuse area, perhaps primarily of interest for their Seneca date on June 16th- https://cny-scca.com/solo/events.php

See you around, though possibly in my BRZ. ;-)

New to the group, now on my 5th Focus. First two were black 3 door SVT's, then a same gen wagon, ST [which is now for sale] and my [new to me] RS. Picked it up last week, great seller and options exactly the way I would have done it. 2017 Frozen White with RS2 package and sunroof. Turned over 9k miles on the way home and should have the plates transferred over tomorrow. Images show my RS then with ST in the foreground. Vehicle Family car City car Car Minivan

Indeed. Odd, I can't figure out why my pics aren't oriented properly. Tried several times to fix them and gave up...

First opportunity to really test the AWD today with our first snowfall [got about 13" overnight], and did a bit of drifting in the cul-de-sac on my street!

Summer tires & wheels back on this weekend along with oil change, update rear shocks and installed my billet jack rails. Now for some better weather so I can also drag out my old Datsun 240z!

Good people, lots of track prep experience coupled with track side support, and, they offer "street car" service too!

Anyone have any recommendations on mod friendly dealers? Would really like to just do a simple tune, no aftermarket parts or anything.
Also, any good ford performance shops around? I used to go to innovative tuning when they were open and I had multiple subarus before the RS.

are you referring to warranty work after getting a tune?

i had an aftermarket brake kit installed by shepard ford in canandaigua a couple years ago. they were real friendly and the master tech drove with me after to make sure all was good. good experience.

Just don't want to have them blame anything and everything on a simple tune. I had a good relationship with a dealer when I owned all my subarus, and would like the same with my ford.

Hi boys and girls.

I am from Auburn area, not truly WNY but close enough. I've only been a member around here a short time, and just bought my car about two weeks ago from another member down south of Albany. I drove it for the first time yesterday. Still too much salt for my liking but I had to give it a try. Back in the garage now for a few more weeks.

I was wondering if any of you knew of any car groups that do daily drives/tours/rallies or ones that do multi day trips in our area? By our area I mean the whole Northeast. I know of all the cars and coffee, and cruise in type things exist everywhere but I was looking for something more. For example I have been all over to Nevada, New Brunswick, North Maine, the Carolinas, Northern Michigan and everywhere between with my other toy and other groups. I didn't know if anything car related existed here. Here are two links from groups that I have ran with in the past that also do car stuff that I am thinking of:
Savage Rally 2020
Day Drives – Road Adventures
Road Tours – Road Adventures

I am just venturing over to the car scene so I am trying to figure it all out. If nothing like the above exists I was wondering if there is any interest in it? I've organized some trips for the other group and wouldn't mind trying to piece something together in the future.

Here is an obligatory pic of my car from yesterday when I swung by my parents place to show it to them.
