While programming the cable was unplugged from the drift stick (bumped with knee)
Now when I turn the car on I get an error "Engine Fault Service Now"
I have tried disconnecting positive battery in an effort to reboot the car
Ford Parts help wasn't sure what to do

When plugged into ProCal now, the VIN populates up until I type "OK" and press return (final step before pressing program)
Then the VIN disappears.

Shows the engine fault

Shows the VIN populated

Shows the VIN no longer populated

Anyone else had this happen?

Is it preventing you from completing the reflash a second time? In the instruction on page 19 it states the following:

CAUTION: If your ProCal aborts programming due to low voltage or if the programming
process is interrupted for any reason, you can simply repeat the flash process.

Seems like it should let you try again.

The lack of VIN won't let me know
When I select the file and "program" it states
VIN not identified
Or something like that

Hmmmm….. I've never tried the techline number on the instructions (1-800-367-3788), but maybe they would know or is that what you meant by Ford Parts didn't know what to do?
