I am writing this build log as a place for myself and other members to keep up with my passion for modifying and doing installs. Also, this is a place to track the progress of my car through time.

I live in the southwest portion of the Kansas City metropolitan area with my wife, two daughters, two sons & our dog. I have the internet, a UPS account, and a passion for cars. I have no desire to RallyX, Drag, Auto X, or even drive like a moron on the street; I don't know why I mod my car; I guess because it's fun, and I like to see that I can go fast and look great too. The closest 93 Octane and E85 station are inconvenient, but E30 tunes will be happening with this RS.

You may know my previous 2016 Stealth Grey RS1 (build). Like an idiot, I chose to sell the car and regretted the decision from the moment it drove away. It was sold to make room for a GT350, but the sale ended up falling through because there were issues with the title being located. I panicked and purchased an S550 GT that I didn't enjoy. That quickly was sold, and I ventured back to the vehicle that I knew best, like the back of my hand, Subarus. I acquired a 2018 Subaru WRX STI 50th Anniversary in Heritage Blue. I loved the thing and had plans to build it right; however, I didn't feel as satisfied as I did with the RS. In February of 2021, my wife and I signed paperwork to build our forever dream home; due to the nature of my job, often traveling the world and extended stays abroad, I decided to free up some cash and sell the STI. Since then, we have been "fun" carless, only having my wife's 2019 Expedition and my 2006 Wrangler Rubicon.

Recently my wife and I toyed around with the idea of getting another RS; we both loved the thing and missed it tremendously. After about a week of searching and digging, we decided on one: 2017 Frozen White RS1, Forged Wheels, only 4644 miles, and only one owner. The RS is a Ford Buyback vehicle, which doesn't bother me at all; the attention Ford gives buyback vehicles to make them right to sell again is noteworthy, and the nature in which people in certain states use Ford's process to their advantage, manipulating the system. The RS should be en route to us on Monday or Tuesday to deliver at our house.

The 1st post will continuously be updated with a current mods list and current pictures.

I was finally able to get the windows tinted on the RS. My window tint guy even came to the house to complete it.

Rear Windows & Hatch - 5%
Front Windows - 20%
Front Windshield - 50%

I purchased a gently used Cobb Accessport from a local RS owner who is parting ways with his vehicle. The Accessport and Cobb's OTS Stage 1 Tune were installed, along with a Green Filter.

The other MK2 RS headrest finally came in, and I installed them both; what a difference.
May I ask where you sourced the rear headrests from? My kid has just moved up to a booster seat but the regular headrests sit too high for her. The Euro style ones look to be at just the right height for her.
