Hey guys,

I found my glass fog lamp cover is broken. I don't think I hit anything (rock, etc), as there have been no loud noises from hits. (Surely you could hear that, right?) Do you think this is covered by our warranty? I've had my car 3 weeks and maybe it came from the dealer this way? Thoughts on what I should do? Thanks!

Yea, this is a pretty common part to replace.

I've done it once already. It's only like $55 shipped, and took 20-30 minutes. I had no idea what I was doing too. I bet I could do it in sub-10 now.

Make sure you order the side you need.

I'd also recommend the 3m skins for the fog lights. Very easy to install, and much cheaper than a new fog light.

Lucky! I figured it was just road hazard, would've saved me some money if I'd asked. Drivers side broke within 2 months of ownership and passenger one broke about a year later. Very easy to replace and new ones seem to have better glass, no issues so far.

I just did this last week and I was surprised too because I dont remember hearing a hit. Got the drivers side from Tasca parts. Takes 5 min. Its literally 1 screw after yanking off the surround. Make sure to snap in all the tabs when putting the surround back on or risk losing it. The only part that sucks is its noticeably newer looking than the other side after 47K miles. Though somehow I'm sure I'm the only one who notices.
