Here we go! Our Blow Off Valves are finally available and ready for purchase!

2016+ Focus RS 2.3 Blow Off Valve - Boomba Racing, Inc.

*For USDM [MAP Tuned] Spec Vehicles*

No aftermarket tuning required. Will work on stock tune or aftermarket tunes.

This high performance VTA (vent to atmosphere) blow-off valve is precision machined out of aircraft grade billet aluminum. It features an internal brass piston design and is pressure tested to withstand up to 100psi, allowing it to compliment even the most aggressive turbo builds. Spring pre-load determines the pressure differential required across the piston before the BOV opens and releases the pressurized intake charge. Designed to be a replacement for the OEM bypass valve and is available in 4 different colors.

Installation is simple and all mounting hardware is included.

Available in your choice of color: Onyx Black, Royal Blue, Race Red, or Pure Aluminum

Does this have any performance gains/changes? Weight savings?

Have you seen the stock piece? It is the lightest piece of plastic possible, with one spring. It probably weighs 3-5 ounces tops hahaha. A full billet aluminum piece definitely will weigh more. You will only get performance gains if you go high hp/tq, and even then, it is just to make sure you aren't leaking boost. This is more a piece of mind and sound preference mod.

Check out this video where we show our BOV vs competitors. We really pride ourselves on the quality of our BOVs. They are made from billet aluminum and feature a brass piston. The stock piece is made of rubber and plastic and is known to tear and leak boost over time. Our piece is a really nice upgrade.

Exactly this! The stock piece is a poor excuse of a bypass valve on a car of this value. It is something worth upgrading for sure.

Thanks for the video but I'm surprised you go to all the trouble of making the rig and video just to show yours doesn't actually leak without showing at what PSI it does relieve and how repeatable it's relief setting is and if it reseats reliably after it does relieve.
In other words all you have shown is it doesn't leak.

The reason nothing is venting in the video is because equal pressure is being applied to both sides. In a scenario like this, the BOV should hold the pressure and not leak. This simulates a boost scenario. In order for the BOV to open, vacuum would need to be pulled.

As you can see, the other BOVs leak under moderate amounts of pressure. Ours holds all the way to 75 PSI with no issue.

Let us know if you've got other questions.

Yep, understand the principle of the valve and have no doubt its a quality piece but just suggesting that seeing you have got the rig set up a more comprehensive test of quality would be to pressurize to relief (with or without vacuum applied) showing its ability to reseat reliably and that the "crack pressurë" is also repeatable. Without the vacuum applied the crack pressure would be higher but you could demonstrate the valves ability to repeatedly and accuratly do its job.
Just a thought.

This is definitely something we can probably demonstrate. We can even film the testing fixture machine that we use. All of our blow off valves and bypass valves go through a 1,000 time actuation cycle before being packaged to ensure proper function.

I found a video for a Boomba BOV for a focus ST, would the sound be comparable to that one?

Boomba, love yalls products but just curious what deleting the recirc does. Does it affect spool time between shifts? Comparing between your VTA and the Turbosmart Dual Port because I want some noise, but I don't want to sacrifice the way the car drives.. My friend had an ST with the bov adapter and it was outstanding!
