Bluetooth ethanol content analyzer help

I purchased a bluetooth ethanol content analyzer kit from Tune+ and received it today. The instructions say you can hook the power up to the battery or tap one of the fuses in the engine compartment. Has anyone installed one of these? I'd like to tap in to the fusebox in the engine compartment, but I'm not sure which one to use.

Let me know how it works I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one. Was going to buy the full blown racing one, but this one is much cheaper and hopefully as accurate.

That setup is pretty cool, a lot cheaper than others out there and simpler from the looks of it.

I like the fact that you don't have to have a gauge which is more of PITA.
Thanks guys. I will post an update on this thread after I install this over the weekend.
Looking forward to it. I didn't know this existed prior to today. :eagerness:

bump? lol

dont tap a 7.5, tap a 1a or a 3a.
if you tap a 7.5 and add 5 more now you are at 12.5
start with a 1amp, add 5 and now you are at 6.
fuses are protection and not always indicative of the size of the feeder to the fuse. the gauge size from the fuse connecting the circuit is a different story.

I just completed the install. Everything went fine with no issues. It took me a couple of hours. I'm about to head out to get some E85!

I used an Add-A-Fuse in #28. The manual says #28 is not used and #29 is for Stop/Stop, but it must be a type-o. This is a 10amp fuse. I was going to use #36, but the lid would no go on. I cut a small slot in the box to route the wires.

This is a screenshot from the app. Looks like the 93 octane from my BP station is exactly E10. Setup was simple. Works like a charm. E30 here I come.

I'm now running E30. Why did I wait so long? The car has come alive even more.
