Recently had Stage 2 installed on '17 RS along with their short throw shift kit. Several thousand miles since install and car has been flawless...all smiles and zero issues. Will COBB be offering auto-blip feature in future to simulate heel/toe? Had this feature on previous aftermarket tuned car and enjoyed.

Apparently not. I remember reading recently they have an issue with possible litigation so wont be exploring that option. The problem with the RS is to have true auto blip or rev matching is that you need sensors for 5 gears for the function to know what gear you are going to select so it can apply the appropriate revs. The systems that are available now just rely on you changing down through the box in sequence and then you fine tune the revs applied by adjustments. Its all a bit unsophisticated and clunky for mine.
I like to skip shift on the down shifts quite often so its pointless for me. The std system on the car has all the functional support necessary for a comprehensive auto blip for Cobb or others I think except for gear position input. Might be an opportunity there for the tech people.

Auto-blip is very hit-or-miss to me. In my experience, if it didn't come with the car OEM, it very rarely feels "good" or natural. I've had the auto-blip function enabled on ecutek when I had my BRZ and it almost always rev'd it too much or not enough, making me have to time the clutch out very precisely or suffer a very jerky down shift. Compare that to a friends 370Z that had that as a feature from the factory and it was very natural and actually felt usable.

I'll stick with the good ol method.
