Curious since the car appears to be primarily FWD if the Revo knuckle (or updated version of it) from the mk2 Focus RS will make it the mk3 Focus RS. Thinking this would allow the air directing from the front vents to get closer to the brakes too.

I think the RS is just using a modified ST set up. The only differences noted so far were different knuckle and shorter rods. They did say there should be air guides on the lower control arm to direct flow.

Other exclusive chassis features include a sport suspension with stiffer spring rates and more efficient bushes and antiroll bars than those found in Focus ST, and two-mode switchable dampers, which offer a firmer setting for track use. Specially tuned electric power-assisted steering, in combination with an optimized front suspension knuckle design and shorter link arms delivers connected and responsive steering with outstanding feel.

I've read that, it states it is changed from standard, but nothing states if its using Revo knuckle design. Seams like several people have been stating that AWD removes the need for Revo Knuckle design, but if primarily FWD front suspension similar to the mk2 FoRS may remain.

Just to close the loop on this thread, it appears the RS is using an evolution of the ST macpherson strut front suspension. The knuckle is a different casting for more negative camber. This press rendering lets you see the front suspension reasonably well. driveline.png
