I know I'm late to the game, but I've been toying with the idea of trading my '15 4Runner trail and getting a RS, as I just don't use the 4Runner as it's intended and I'd rather sell my kart which I race, and have something to autox and do HPDEs with. I've been looking at the STI/EVO, but think the RS would be a better fit, as I don't know that ~300hp will get it done for me anymore. Just wondering if any dealers here in TX have any allocations left at MSRP?

Thanks,
Matt

My apologies. Meant asking. I agreed because I am getting a good deal on my trade in (a '13 Focus SE) . the dealer was straight with me, and why he (the manager) was asking so much. For 1, I am ordering base RS1 + upgraded wheels. 2, this was a decision I made, and one that I can afford comfortably. 3, I weighed my options - if I choose to buy a 3rd vehicle ( say a '92 rhd Cosworth Escort ) I now have a direct dealer to dealer connection to track it down. I see the additional $5K as an investment in a reputable dealer. My mother purchases 7 fleet trucks this way from a dealer, paying $2-3K over msrp every time. When it came time for her true personal vehicle, she got a $65K Hummer for $25K. I'm older now. I know this will not be my last purchase, it will be 1 special one among many. So best of luck to all. To all that buy at msrp, congrats. To all the buy and receive theirs first congrats. I will see ya on the road, and know you are the lucky few.

Dealers that ask for more than MSRP don't deserve business in my opinion. No way you can justify it, I've been working at a dealer for a while and they already make enough at MSRP. Most of the time they rape people of their trade ins. Give the customer a good deal, make a little profit and bet your ass that customer will come back.
