I'm also in the June group. I believe the latest update last week said were probably looking at October.
Last one I saw was that they were actually able to order more parts of the gen1 stuff to satisfy june orders, since gen2 was taking so long to get ready. So may be sooner than october.

"We managed to get raw materials for another 6K units, and we are doing everything we can to get the components necessary for another 8k units which would be enough to fulfill all the pledges with a June expected delivery."

So I guess they are trying to get stuff to fulfil June with gen1, but haven't actually yet. I'm not in any rush, but I don't want to waste money on another usb cable since my current (4th) cable is dying again.

Ah. Makes sense. I thought they were talking about gen2 parts, and then aiming to have them done by October. Apparently reading is hard, and I missed the sentences before that where they said "We are also trying to get more devices made with current hardware..."

So today I went out of town for some errands. Phone's (Pixel 4 XL) at 47% when I chuck it into the wireless charger while it's in its Spigen phone case. When I made a stop for gas phone was down to 41%. finished my drive there and did my shopping. While shopping I did take some pictures. I didn't note the charge on it when I put it back in the charger on my way home and when I got home I only had 24% battery. I had Waze up on the screen and YouTube music play music in the background.

Now that it's hot, I think my Pixel 5 is thermal throttling because of Wireless AA along with the Wireless charging. I usually can do 30 minutes max with the combo. It's great for short trips but not for longer trips

If you want split screen, set AAWireless DPI setting to 103. I'll likely set it back to default though, I was just testing.

Went to grab lunch today, and this little fella was waiting in my mailbox.

Been so long since I sponsored it, I kinda stopped thinking about it.
Installation was a breeze, took about 2 minutes to pair and away it went...
Google Pixel 5 with March update, no issues connecting or with use so far.
Android Auto without plugging my phone in!

Got mine in today, also S10+. Took me longer to open the package without something sharp than it did to get it setup. Just in time for my cable to start crapping out on me! Now I need to figure out where I put my center console with the charging pocket...

I've only used mine a couple of times for about 25-30 minutes each time and was streaming audio for most of the first drive - apart from the audio dropping when being in a place with little coverage for a second or two no issues so I think that it works great.

I recieved mine yesterday but I can't seem to get it to connect to the headunit. I connect to it via Bluetooth but nothing happens on the headunit. On my phone it says something like "Searching for Android Auto". Any advice? I opened a ticket but I got a message that they were closed.

Shooting in the dark, but since you didn't mention it - you need this app on the phone so that it pairs with the device: AAWireless - Apps on Google Play

You also need to change some of the settings for Android Auto on the phone beforehand (put it in developer mode, enable wireless mirror) and only then start the car/plug in the device to the car.

That's strange. Did you try uninstalling the app and starting over?

Yes I originally used the app from the start and it failed when it was trying to connect. I found in the FAQ that they recommend trying without the app so I did that and still no connection.

I did, but I will try again removing the pairing and starting over. The issue I found the first time was that for some reason the device persisted in the app and it wasn't necessarily starting from scratch.

Thanks to both of you. Hopefully support will be able to help me get it working.

Well, I just got a new 2021 Ranger XLT that still does not come with wireless AA support from the factory. I moved the AAWireless box from the RS to the Ranger and it works fine, just had to do the pairing process. Next will be to move it back to the RS and see if it just works, or I have to repair it every time I move it between the vehicles.

I've got one AA Wireless dongle BNIB I'm not using if you don't want to keep moving it
