Went to grab lunch today, and this little fella was waiting in my mailbox.

Been so long since I sponsored it, I kinda stopped thinking about it.
Installation was a breeze, took about 2 minutes to pair and away it went...
Google Pixel 5 with March update, no issues connecting or with use so far.
Android Auto without plugging my phone in!

Please let me know how battery life is when using wireless AA. Wireless AA is really cool, but I feel the main benefit of wired AA is it charges the phone while using. I'm curious how much battery is consumed by using Google Maps and listening to music via AA.

I was planning on combining this with the Focus wireless charger accessory so its a non-issue. Part of the reason I'm doing this is because I seem to be eating USB-C cables like crazy, even after cleaning the ports.

I'll do what I can, but for the last year, I've been working from home and only making trips to the store/gym/etc. Quick jaunts, so not sure I'd even notice battery drain. Even when I WAS driving in to work, my commute is less than 15 minutes. I will try it during fire season, since we have to drive all over the Great Basin area

Nice pics. Glad it connected without a hitch. Saw this a few weeks ago and jumped on it. May 2021. Right? More like 2022 or 2023. Electronics are delaying several of my kickstarters too. It's always a surprise when a package arrives.

How fast from starting up until it connects?

Is their an Android app for it?
There is an app for settings and such.
Just look for AAWireless on the Google Store.
I'd say my Sync system takes five seconds to boot up, and another five for it to automagically go into Android Auto.

So far, so good. I like the wireless charging phone pocket, I might grab one of those and install it when I swap my radio bezel out.

I haven't really been following it, despite the numerous emails from them.
Can't remember exactly when I got in on it, but I DID get a shipping message about two weeks ago.

I've done a bunch of Kickstarters, and found it's best to just forget about them. And some of them, that may be money lost.
I did the Growlerworks CO2 pressurized growler kickstarter, and it was maddening. I'm about 50/50 with my pledges so far.
Had a few that were quick and solid, but the rest were constant delays and ended up being dog **** when they shipped

Man, I'm ready to receive this.

Already got the wireless charger bay installed, and this is the last key to a wireless setup.

Glad to see it seems to be working with the RS.

How difficult was the wireless charger pocket?
Are the connections already there behind it?

I messaged the dude on ebay about the wireless charger availability, and he said they are not getting anymore since it's been discontinued.
Found a RHD model on ebay.co.uk, trying to see if they know of any LHD models

That's a bummer. I found one through Ford in Germany but they won't ship here.

For some reason Ford Europe just doesn't want to sell parts to the US anymore. They made it so all of their online part sales have to go through them, and they won't ship to us. Makes things much more difficult for us.
