New to the RS, but didn't take long to start modifying. My 1st attempt to make my own "drift stick"...too cheap to buy the Nutron Drift DevICE.

Thank you @gonuts4donuts for the STL files.

My goal is to eventually make something very similar to the original drift stick where the pivot point is at the base of the handle and a micro switch to activate the rear brakes. Once step at a time.

Also made my own case for the Carloop Pro case too...this one I designed myself.

Ohhh I just picked up a Bambu X1 Carbon so now I have something to print 😁 Maybe I should reach out for the STL.

What did you print it out of? ABS?

Lol, yeah...agreed on the awful choice of colour, but it's the only filament I had. Besides, it's a prototype. I want to see if I like the position and if the extension is good enough or I want to go through and make something more complicated.

Everything so far has been printed on my Ender 3 v2 with Sprite Pro, CL touch upgrade - PLA, 0.8mm nozzle, 0.32mm layer, 3 layer walls, with 20% infill.

It's not very solid, but it does the job. I do think the backplate will need to be much stiffer.

Looks pretty good, It wont fit on my printbed though... I'll have to get a bigger printer one of these days.

This looks familiar! I had to do similar orientation gymnastics to get it to fit on my ender 3.
