By full kit you mean with the charge pipes? I did try to add the charge pipes but the code didn't take any off. Also it looks like the hard pipes for the RS are completely gone.

Might have to get them from the UK.

So is this bad boy just a drop-in in place of stock? I presume it doesn't need the blanking plate, right? Is it important to get it with the pipes? Does it do much for stock?

It works with the stock pipes, but the cold side pipe has that restriction and funnel from the TB.

Yes it replaces the stock IC and mounts and the same spots w/o modification needed. No blanking plates needed either.

Does the restriction actually impact performance? At least stock wise.

Also Mountune surprisingly shipped the intercooler yesterday and due for delivery on Saturday.

From what I was told it can be compensated with a tune.... but physically, you tell me:

Very interesting. Well I reached out to JWR to see about getting that Mountune charge pipe kit since Mountune USA no longer carries the hard pipe.

I got my blue (soft) charge pipes from Rally Sport direct from Utah at almost cost then the hard pipe from Mountune UK which is the black one above rather than the raw steel on the US side, also cheaper even when shipped from the pond.

If ever anyone is going with a bigger TB, you would need to get a cold hard pipe and the proper size coupler. I ordered the CP-e cold side charge pipe.

Oh, odd. Mountune USA only seems to sell a stainless steel version, but UK still has the aluminum one and does not appear to have SS.

Yep, in one point both had the SS. With @phillofoc tip, when the black one got released that's the one I bought.

Received today. Looks like the IC inlet punctured the box on the left and it was taped over. Not sure if this was during transit but looks like no damage to the IC other than the plug. I had a slight heart attack but everything looks fine other than I'll probably need to blow out the intercooler a bit.
