I like the first comment mentioning that its basically FWD until theres slippage. That could mean some decent mpg's as well. Fingers crossed.
At first that bothered me because there are a lot of cars that are FWD biased that send power to the rear when slippage is detected but they fall tremendously short when compared to AWD systems such that are found in Subarus and in the EVO's. However, I think the RS AWD system is the best of both worlds with its ability to transfer power to individual wheels as well instead of just simply back and forth.

+ "drift mode" I think there may be some sort of lock on the power to the rear in that one.

I suppose only time will tell. I'll certainly be looking out for more info to appear...
