Hopefully you get reimburse for it if its for work.
I travel northern/central New England. I figured I'd go a little long and make sure my office was a fun place to be. I rep Ford Accessories to Ford dealers for Ford's Authorized Distributor. I do get a monthly allowance and mileage. The car is a beast in the snow, in case you were wondering about that in San Diego.

That is good to hear.... I know most of us love driving but at least something out of it if it's for work.

From San Diego I can go to Big Bear for snow. I used to live in Minnesota and Portland. My sister and her kids still live in Minnesota.... a small town called Watertown. I bet the RS is a fun car to drive in snow.

    You work for Ford accessories/BDa?!

You probably have all the merch!

Drive safe out there my friend!

Does anybody else keep track of how many track miles they have driven?

By my calculation my RS has done 240 miles on track, of 17,000 total miles. That works out to 1.5%
Not very much but Iím surprised it is even over 1%.

Iím curious whose RS has done the greatest percent of its driving on track...

@trejr any mods on your car? I'm curious if you are tuned or not. Would speak a lot to the reliability

I received a new long block from Ford at 50k due to an HG issue. On the new motor I have added a Mountune High Flow Intake, a V2X cat back exhaust, their FMIC, breather plate, RMM, and air recirculation valve. Justin @ Freektune, which is "local" to me did a mild tune. Dyno @ 330hp/414tq. Very happy. No mechanical issues. I believe it is time to upgrade motor mounts, however.

    Clutch just went out. 65k.

Not bad considering 2.5 years of autoX and DD

From someone who has been hesitant to tune, this is reassuring. Thanks for the info
