KW V3s with Volk Racing Wheels. Will it rub?

I have Volk TE37s on my car which poke a bit on the rear. 18x9 +38 w/ 245/40/18 ps4s tires. Just purchased a set of KW V3s which I understand drops the rear a minimum of 1.4”.

Does anyone have any experience with this setup or anything close to it?

I have 18x8.5 +42 with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (245/40) and KW V3. Not exactly the same width, but I did opt for the Massive RaceSpec rear camber arms to ensure rubbing wasn't an issue. I am corner balanced, but the rear is not lowered much beyond the tallest setting on the spring plate. KW sells a rear spring spacer that you can drop in the perch. IIRC, it's .25" thick.

I have 18x8.5 +43 with KW clubsport and the rear at the max height (drops the same as V3 - a minimum of 20mm or 25mm IIRC), and I fit Nankang AR1 255/35 and no rubbing yet. It does seem the whole thing is at the limit though and I did opt for +10mm from the initial height cause I was afraid of rubbing when I hit the track with these tires. Also, to be on the safe side, I too ordered the camber arms.

Only managed to get 3 out of the 4 coilevers installed yesterday. Just by looking at the pictures do you guys think theres a chance I’ll rub or hit the fender? Too close for comfort maybe?

Looks close, maybe when you pull the other rear while the spring is out just put a jack under control arm and jack it up to see what clearance looks like.

I'd be reluctant to add spacers since it may destroy the shock over time. I'm trying to make sure I'm within spec.

Looks pretty nice, I'd like to go with the same wheels but try to squeeze a 265 with my Litchfields. May need camber arms in the back and flares in the front.
