Went with Huntington Beach Ford. Took 4 days. Service advisor Alfredo is amazing. My dog ripped up my passenger weather strip about 1 month into ownership and at the same time I got my recall, he replaced the weatherstrip for free. FYI Caruso where I bought I from in Long Beach was trying to charge me 300ish for parts and labor to replace it.

I ended up going with North County Ford in Vista.
After speaking with the Head service guy in person, they agreed to install the ARP head studs at the time, after a call to one of his corporate Ford service engineers, who said "why the hell not?" Of all replies, ha.
No one else was really willing.
It ended up being a week, leak test was the second day, 2 or 3 days were waiting for the parts, once they had them it was only two days.
Couldn't have been happier, Service manager always called me back, tech took pictures at my request.

I live in Placentia and was at Fairway Ford in the parts dept for something else. I asked the service manager if they have done them, how long it takes and such. They said usually less than a week. They said if my car is running fine and I am hesitant about having the service done, then just wait till it gets closer to the deadline or maybe even just pass all together.

Early 2016 with 26K miles, no issues at all so I'm going to just keep driving it till the end of the year and see how I feel then. If I didn't purchase the extended warranty I'd for sure just pass on the entire recall process.

Mine actually has no issues whatsoever. Pulls hard and smooth at idling at the same time. I'm really hesitant just thinking something worse is going to happen afterwards based on the people posting on the forums but then again, I have two kids. Last thing I want my car dead on the side of the road and got my kids with me. Just not a risk I am willing to take.

If head gasket is incorrect, just a matter of time until crap happens. Recall must be done I guess

@vrinner Go get the gasket changed, don't delay until the end of the year. Not showing any symptoms just means it's not failing as quickly. I guarantee you that if you tune the car, or are monitoring your timing, you will see that it's pulling timing a lot more than other RSes, which is definitely causing not-so-obvious damage.

I went to McCoy Mills Ford in Fullerton. With my car they have done about half a dozen FSA and that was a couple of months ago. Talk to Danny in service.

They did not give me any fuss about my mods. There service is nice and they do not treat you like a second class citizen.

I had a loaner, but turned it in since it took a little longer and I had another vehicle. So I cannot say if they would extended the loaner.

Great way to get yourself into a new engine or catalytic converter at your cost in a year or two. Drop your car off at one of the places listed here, if they've done a few cars then you're good. If you can get your service done sooner than later, maybe you'll only need a gasket instead of a gasket+head. Almost all of the buybacks and issues have been because of the head replacement. I did mine at 2k or 3k miles and had 4psi loss. Dec 16 build. Maybe you're lucky with the correct super-early gasket, but I wouldn't risk my $10k engine on it (with labor to R&R).

They've taken care of the family that's in socal for decades. Good peeps there, and good to hear they're mod friendly-ish.
If you buy one, drive it hard. Because thrills like these don’t happen often.

I bought my car from McCoy Mills so when time comes I'll probably bring it in to them.
