Autox 04/28/19 Results. More information here.

    Notes:
    - Hoosier A7 slicks are DONE! Only 64 runs and they all corded. Traction fell off dramatically. Felt like I was on ice.
    - Came in 7th out of 41 drivers. Still won SM by 0.004 seconds.
    - Rear sway bar = firm. Front sway bar = middle
    - Front MCS shocks at 15 out of 18 clicks, and the rear at 9 out of 18 clicks.
    - Vehicle race weight = 3190 lb.
    - Odometer passed 4900 miles today.

3 days of casual reading to get here and I want more!! Just a great thread and impeccable documentation and attention to detail in the modification. Couldn't be prouder to be a fellow engineer. Haha.

    Pictures along the way:
Autox 06/08/19 Results. More information here.

    Notes:
    - Came in 2nd out of 44 drivers. Ended up 0.049 behind FTD. Won SM by 1.139 seconds.
    - 2nd event with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires. Settled on 33F/20R tire pressures hot. -3.1F/-2.9R camber. Zero toe F/R.
    - Rear sway bar = firm. Front sway bar = middle
    - Front MCS shocks at 15 out of 18 clicks, and the rear at 9 out of 18 clicks.
    - Bypassed the brake switch to eliminate panic assist due to the pivot cone section on course. Worked like a charm!
    - Vehicle race weight = 3195 lb.
    - Odometer passed 5100 miles today.

Gotta ask Hank, how did you bypass the panic assist?

33/20 is the lowest I’ve ever heard someone run so far. I should experiment more but have had pretty great keeping ~38/38 hot

I want someone else to try it and make sure they achieve the same results that I did. Twist the brake light switch and remove it from the bracket. Tape the plunger down. Tuck the brake light switch under the dash out of the way. Enjoy racing.

After racing don't forget to cut the tape off and reinstall the brake light switch so your brake lights work again. Soon I will make a modification page about a bypass with a custom switch.

I chalk my tires just like most others do. On each particular course I lower the pressures until they wear near each triangle on the RE-71R sidewall. Each track is different (i.e. more slaloms, more open, etc.).

    Notes:
    - Car was dirty after getting the HG Recall completed this week. New head!
    - (1) wiring plug needs to be disconnected/reconnected (air temp sensor).
    - DEPO Racing full intake kit (minus filter). Found a coupon on the forum.
    - Re-used AEM Dryflow Air Filter from previous install.
    - Total weight reduction = 0.40 lb.

I think my K&N filter that I had on the stock airbox was a 2.75inch one. It is impossible to fit to the new Depo Racing 3inch pipe that goes into the airbox.
Will have to get my local RS parts store to either get the AEM like you, or any other one that can potentially fit.
Once again, thanks for all these write ups
