If I would buy one right now, I would be checking this one: https://www.focusrs.org/forum/17-foc...ate-mount.html
Appreciate it, I ended up getting it off of Amazon as I had a gift card and it was too cheap to pass up

Installed yesterday. Super easy. Lots of space between the plate and bumper can’t imagine it rubbing on the paint.
My question now is, I’m going to loctite it and at the same time going to bend the edge of the plate so wind doesn’t hit it straight on. But I was thinking, can I drill some air holes through the plate for aerodynamics? Is it legal to alter the license plate in that way. Was going to drill super small holes so maybe nobody would even give it a second look.

You saved a couple of dollars from their site.

Dont know if you are allowed to mod the CA plate man.

Just says you can't remove the reflective paint or make it harder to read the characters. You might catch some flak for it from a grumpy motorcycle officer, but don't see why it would be a huge deal.

I also don't think you'll see much if any benefits to doing it though.

I noticed on mine though that it's bit bent at the corners, it just bent it with my hand back into place. I might consider getting a frame. I have the Cooltech V2.

I don't think that would be an issue on this one VaderRS since you have the whole license plate on a bracket (edges and all).
