I have the stock front sway bar and I've never heard any clunk shifting 1-2.

I have a Whiteline bar and don't get any clunking. I'd suggest putting a wrench on all the subframe bolts, endlink nuts, and motor mount bolts just to make sure it's all tight.

That would be great! I know it wasn't a points event, but congrats on getting top PAX. It's great having a good driver locally to track my progress.

I'm going to try to go to 2-3 events a month. I'll try to make all the SCCA CR events and go to a couple miata/bmw/tsscc events depending on whats local and weather. That said, I probably won't be there this weekend... high 30's and a chance of snow = pass. lol

EDIT: I was on RE71's and stock bar. I really don't think it was the FSB.. I guess i'll go have a look and make sure everything is tight.

Defenitly not the links. I am stock everything and I have the same clunk. It's the rear motor mount.

Glad to see you're trying to get out to more events! See ya out there.

Good news - got an amazing new job

Bad news - nearest autocross events to it are AT LEAST 2hrs away so that sucks. I’ll be living in southern central WV.

Has anyone done any of the Ohio Valley Region events? Experiences if so? That appears to be my closest unless something gets going around Lexington more.

RS is back on the winning side of National Events. Mike King(4 time national champ) goes P1 in S4. I trophied in S4 and finished 13th/200 overall.

The weather was the overriding factor as heavy rain, wind and cold crushed both days. (S4 got dry runs Sunday morning)

Do you know what tire/size Mike King was running?

My struggle on the Rival-S has been rear tire temp on the first run (or two!), they simply don't get into the window and the car is unpredictably loose. Once they get warmed up everything is fine. Based on experience, I don't think this would be an issue with the RE71, as it isn't so sensitive to lower temps.

S4 looked insane when taking a look at the pax results. Good job man

First event on the new MCS setup and the wider STU spec wheels/tires. Finished first in class and 10th overall PAX out of the 69 drivers that competed both days. Rain first day, this was my fastest run second day where it was mostly dry all day.

I know there's some really experienced RS drivers in here, I'd love your input! The car felt AMAZING on the MCSs.
