O means open to us. It's our regional class meant to train you for higher level competition. Results are Pax based and only your first three runs count since that's all you can expect at a national event. Open competitors aren't allowed to take ride alongs during those first 3 runs either. My multiplier is the same BS multiplier we all have.

You will see a lot of "P" class results in those standings as well. That's a Pax based group to provide more competition but a little less serious. All the runs count and you can take ride alongs all day. Our club has to do things like this because we can only expect 50 cars per event. A lot of people would be driving alone all year with no one to battle against.

nicely done! the more letters they get, the more likely something is to change. if it's like 4-5 guys, they won't care.

Just use one of those hockey pucks with a slot in it and the pinch weld isn't going anywhere. You can easily get both tires on one side off the ground from the front jacking point.
I've no problem putting one side up at a time what I want is to put the car up with all four corners on jack stands so I can remove all four wheels. I'm afraid that rails are the only way to get this done without a lift.

I've got no problem jacking the car up high enough to get stands under front and rear. Front stands on the lower control arm bushing and the rear stands on the pinch welds.

And it feels secure walking it up this way? Putting one side up then lifting the other

fwiw I always use the pinch welds. I get a long 2x4 to distribute the weight, put that between the jack and the rail, and go to work

On the crappy pavement on my driveway? Ehhh, you have to be careful while you're jacking the second side up. Inside the garage on the smooth concrete it seems much more stable while jacking it up. You still don't want to be rocking the car around when you're jacking it up, but once it's up it's perfectly stable.
