Hi guys, I've been busy back on the UK sites, so not stopped by lately, seems I should as all the latest news and gossip is here ( I'm a UK dealer for DSC Sport modules and Damper kits)

Interesting news on the KW front, more choice for the owners, or perhaps a dilemma?

Mountune springs and the module still on mine, great combination.

It does open up more choices. I am impressed that the RS has so many choices to begin with especially for 2-mode/electronically controlled dampers.

I assume since you are in the UK you have the Mountune Yellow Springs? I have an 18 RS and I am thinking of starting with the Mountune Yellow Springs and DSC controller for first go at chassis updates. Which DSC cal are you using?

Hi burbles, Yes I have the current yellow Mountune springs. I started with the DSC module with standard springs, later adding the MT ones. That is how I always advise doing it. I would rather have the module with standard springs than just the MT springs. As I found them a bit bouncy and uncontrolled with the Ford module. The two together are great.
Good thing as well is the module is not a dead end route, as more damper options come available your investment keeps delivering with a simple reprogramming. All the way up to the ultimate set up with DSC/Tractive dampers and springs.

I use and supply my customers with hybrid calibration file when they have stiffer/MT springs. Normal is as supplied by DSC, Sport has been tweaked to be a little firmer and Track is the aggressive profile from the DSC website. That said the Ford dampers are limiting factor so it's subtle as the standard file is perfectly usable anyway. Most users over here prefer the Track map.
    Hope that helps.

There are no dilemmas. We are an active suspension company that makes an active suspension controller to control electronic valves. When a company comes out with an electric valve, we will design a calibration file for others to use. As you know from experience, the controller works and works well. If others can benefit from what we make, we will make it happen!

We saw the KW valve and know that we can make our controller work with it. After the holidays, we will begin dyno testing the KW shocks on our shock dyno and release a calibration file. We will put that file on our website so that if a user already has the DSC Sport controller, they can download the calibration file from our site if they purchase the KW dampers. Just like if a set of Tractive dampers are purchased. The calibration files are on our website so anyone can have access to them that has a DSC Sport controller.

Sorry for the delay! We are expecting controllers to be back in stock at the end of next week.

Are there any Australian distributors? I'm more than likely going to purchase one regardless anyway but if I can get it faster or a little cheaper given our exchange rate, that would be great.

That would be great. The exchange rate definitely holds many back from making a purchase.
