The plan is to be able to use MT rear springs, no adjustment in height, straight OE install, just swap the dampers for Tractive.
Front while it will be possible to adjust the height, it is more a way to preset it to the default height MT springs normal achieve. So the end result will be ride height as per Mountune on stock car.

The objective was to reduce the parts needed to go to Tractive dampers, by reusing the owners existing springs, or ones of their choice and deleting height adjust. There by lowering the cost of the kit by around 15%.
It does require some new parts, which reduces the potential save. Something I'm looking to minimise.

That said I have the first prototype set near ready, whether it goes any further probably depends on how much interest it generates over here and if I can produce the parts in sensible time and cost.
    So to be clear:

    1. You're looking at providing a dampers kit that could be used with either OEM or Mountune springs?
    2. For either of those scenarios, would a DSC controller still be required, or could the dampers be used with the stock controller? (I think I know the answer, but want to be clear.)

    1. Yes.
    2. You can only use Tractive dampers with a DSC controller, with the dedicated map loaded. Without the Tractive dampers revert to max stiffness, Ford stays minimum when unplugged. As they work opposite way around to each other.

The Tractive cables you must treat them with respect and just imagine their made of glass as those cables are fragile.

Never pull the wire by the connector.

To check cable hold connector and gently pull and push the wire in and out of the connector. If you get movement of The wire inward and outward it’s generally broke and requires replacement.

But always double check after physical check on the DSC diagnostic software and that will confirm which leg or legs have no connection.

Yup, it's squished for sure. It looks like coax cable put in a vise, which will fail in short order (3 months / 3k miles)
If you buy one, drive it hard. Because thrills like these don’t happen often.

Rear ride height from highest to lowest:

Tractive dampers w/suppied Elibach springs with adjuster at minimum setting

    Stock dampers w/stock springs

    Tractive w/Mountune springs

    Stock w/Mountune springs

Tractive dampers w/Elibach springs installer with no adjuster

Does this mean swapping out all four springs or using the rears only? From my understanding the fronts are ride height adjustable and able to go pretty much as high as stock.

You can't use any other spring on the front with Tractive dampers because they use a unique spring diameter, which is different to OEM size.
Which is why I'm working on solving that issue and asked the question on any interest in the idea.
Rear doesn't have an issue to use either with the right hardware in the Tractive kit.

The fronts are a standard 2.5 ID Eibach spring. You can replace them with an almost endless supply of Eibachs with any spring rate and length. The only issue is that you can’t use the oem style springs. You can use the stock style springs if you cut the perch off the oem strut, attach a sleeve to allow the oem seat to rest on the DSC strut. I still haven’t swapped out the broken engine, but I plan to figure out a stock spring seat for the DSC dampers.

Like I said I've already done it. I wouldn't go down the cutting perches off and sleeve it !!!! I must of misunderstood Tractive, as they suggested the springs were bespoke. I don't have alternatives to measure or check.

My question was there any interest or demand for using the OEM size springs? Not how to do it, pictures to follow once all parts made.

Can anyone confirm where the front coilover wire is located? From the picture on the DSC website it looks to come out of the bottom, which is not stock location. If so how is it routed?
