Greetings all. Purchased my 2017 NB RS2 in November of 2017, so Ive just completed a year of ownership. I figured after a year of browsing this forum, its time to make an account and introduce myself. Ive only done a few small mods so far, shift knob, HomeLink and auto-dimming Mirror (what was Ford thinking not including this??), and a phone mount. I promised myself I was gonna keep this car stock, after the last few, but yeah, thats not gonna happen. Plans are exhaust -> wheels -> suspension -> IC -> intake -> tune.
My last ride, a 2013 BMW 335i that was moderately modified:
The ride before, most crazy Ive ever gone on a build, a 2010 Nissan 370z that was heavily modified:

The Z was a HOOT and a fantastic sports car. I loved driving it, modding it, BUT - when i went from a 2 mile commute to a 20 mile commute, its 'quirks' ceased to amuse me anymore, and I got rid of it for something more civilized. That being said, nothing made me happier than driving the Z on the Dragon or Hellbender, its was made for it.
The BMW was nice but never great. The build quality always looked and felt great, but there wasn't a time I wasn't chasing a rattle or squeak. It was temperamental when I tuned it, but was otherwise reliable, which was nice (for a BMW this was a surprise), So while it was a good car, it was never a great car, and thats why I decided to get rid of it.
The RS is another very fun car, like my Z was, but much more livable. I can carry people and stuff in it, its nowhere near as loud (the road noise in the Z is unbelievable, especially with 305's in the back), That being said, theres a few issues Im trying to fix either with mods, or just outright trying to fix them (like the annoying rattly headliner). This car needs an exhaust (stupid FENG) so Ive got an AWE Touring on the way, and it also needs some suspension work, so I have to decide how crazy I want to go there.
Congrats and welcome.
"I was gonna leave this car stock"...
My mod list is gonna explode soon. Do you have information on installing the homelink and rear view mirror in this vehicle?
