Haha I hear ya and it's an easy location to get to. Small lot but still fun and good people. A good amount of them run with us too.

SCCA Chicago region and a few TSSCC events run at route 66 right down the street from autobahn you should check it out some time. There are a few RS's that run with us.

Back on topic, I cooked a set of Carbotech xp12's on my 350z last year at gingerman... Those cars are the worst for airflow to the brakes. Let alone it doesn't have the brembos either.

But prior to that the bite, release, and modulation of the brakes was top notch. Going to a similar compound from gloc for these cars would be a pretty good pairing. Haven't been out on track with the RS yet but might see you out there for one of the scca events at autobahn.

Ohhh TSSCC (Tri State Sports Car Council) does track sprints this year at autobahn. Check that out too!

Just arrived today. First track weekend of the season starts April 27. Last set was G16's in the front and G12's in the back. We'll see how G16's all around feel.

I just bought Endless CCRG front and read pads, hope to install them soon. I had them before on my EvoX and GolfR, the braking on track was amazing

ps. some time ago I was at Nürburgring and rented a seat leon cupra (same as VW GTI). I have done a 4 laps, that is about 80km, the brakes was fine and I was really surprised. The rental guy told me the they are using endless ccrg pads with girodisc rotors. After that I'm using such combination on all my cars and I'm really happy with it.

It Begins--- first track weekend.Forecasted for snow Saturday night. I should have left my winter tires on instead of swapping for track tires.
GLoc R16''s These have 6 track days and then after the last day on October 7 I left them on all winter. I was lazy and got busy but I really like the way they bite even in cold temps. I had to hammer them out and the pad separated from the backing. They are finished.

Put in the R12/R10's in a few weeks ago for my first trackday of the season and have been too lazy to swap the GS1's back in. They have pretty good cold bite for track pads but boy are they loud! I sound like a semi pulling into work lol

Took the lady out for dinner downtown Fri night and was cruising around for a parking spot. The looks I got from all the people standing around for the restaurants/clubs/bars as I slowly coast around was priceless.

We've had really good luck with Ferodo Ds1.11's and DBA 4000 Series T3 Slotted Rotors. We'll get three-four track days on the pads, rotors last much longer. We thought about 2 piece for the front, but the DBA's aren't too expense comparatively.

We get the same looks ALWAYS around town. "Dude, your brakes are cooked - you need pads bad."

    Yep

I'm still on stock pads on my '16 & have a track day next month; when I swapped my snow tires out for summers in late March / early April I noticed the pads were getting a little too thin for my comfort for the track. I had a track day in '17 on those same stock pads, so between DD’ing the car and that first track day, it’s no wonder they’re wearing down. With that, I *just* ordered a full set of R12's based on numerous mentions on this forum & others.. I have to imagine they're better than the stock compound (when new, even) as I remember the brakes fading in the afternoon sessions.. I'll probably replace the stocks with something street friendly soon after.

I ordered a set of Mountune track pads, but I found they won’t have stock until mid to late next month, so I’m going to cancel that order.

I have a set of Mountune hoses to install along with plenty of Motul RBF660 (because hoses, and I probably cooked the factory fluid a long time ago).. From a braking perspective I should be good to go this year & appreciate all the discussions around what track pads to use.
