How long should have it been? I didn't know I had a time limit boss. It takes a little time to get the full story and a little longer to get your car back from the dealership after an engine change. Is there a time limit on the next reply? When should I report back to ya boss? Is there anything else boss?

Wow, let's all simmer down. You just signed up to report an issue. Members inquire about the issue and then your posts go off the rails. One thing to remember is a lot of us have seen this scene before many times over and are skeptical.

So here's the photo from post #29, not your photo:

Remember you came in with no reputation and you gave a basic GTFO comment to a senior member, not a good way to start out in the forum.

IF that's the images that respawned was referring to then I hate to tell him neither of those bolts are rod bolts.....sigh. The sections of pulled thread on the longer bolt is aluminium just for starters (rods are forged steel) that has picked up probably when the bolt was removed bent. Not unusual.
This engine had a balance shaft sync failure which caused the balance shaft to start clipping the rod big end then the balancer assy gets torn off its mounts and really hits the rod and takes that out too.
One bolt I suspect is a balance shaft assy mount bolt and the other the sump drain bolt.
A lot of this stuff was mentioned in the thread. Just a bit of reading and research of the thread at hand helps.

    Ciao

So let me get this straight, you are telling me that when I joined the group that I was here to report an issue? And that I am the one being off the rail? And that it's ok for your so called Senior members to attack newly joined members and question their credibility? Is this how you conduct your forum?

What's wrong for asking for proof in a claim?

Let’s keep this professional or I’ll have to get into the finer points of running a burger joint again.

I stand by my comments, and you have yet to prove or show your broken bits. Unfortunately, forum members here interject/call out things that just don't seem to be right. If you view above, the photo that you referred to is not the bolts that you claim to have an issue with. This forum is conducted in a manner that is more tolerant than others out there, say.....VWVortex, MS3, NAISOC forums. For the love of all things holy, let's not have @mboles2 get on his burger joint points again.
