Someone from Tasmania went way too far with this mod - Sorry if you're on here..but I think this is hideous. Ruins that gorgeous front end with that tacky SuperCheap Auto spotlight bar..its just wrong. Please remove and put it on a 4x4

Personally I don't think it looks all that bad. Probably not something I'd put on my car, but its definitely not something I'd feel the need to open a completely new thread about to bash someones car. Its their car and they can do what they want.

NSW plates, you sure they're from Tassie?

Also, the light bars doesn't look bad at all. As for functionality, have you seen the number of roadkill in Tassie? I'd rather have a light bar on my grill than a wallaby - haha.

he may need the lighting, you never know.
If it really is Tassie, then definitely! Last time I planned a week-long trip down there, I had it all planned out so that I would be warm at home before the sun went down. That is how dark it gets - and with all the wildlife around the area - you just won't want to risk it.

Restricting the airflow to the radiator, too, but it's his car and if that's what he wants... I agree, at least paint the bar black.

Here in Alaska, light bars are a necessity. I'll be putting a slim 20" black Rigid LED bar on my RS later this week. I've got the same bar on my truck and real world illumination is easily 1500ft+. I've used KC, PIAA, and Hella in the past and I would say a pair of those put out less than 25% of the LED bars. However, there are a lot of cheap LED bars that don't offer focus or distance.

I live 60 miles from the nearest town down a 2 lane, often snow covered, highway with a 65mph speed limit. When you have 19+ hours of darkness, good lighting is an absolute necessity.

Don't forget about the 1500lb moose that hang out along the highway because the snow is not as deep...

Guessing a lot of city folk........If we could Kull Roos we wouldn't need addons like this.......
Those light bars are crazy, if you haven't had a roo cross your path you'd never understand why you'd want them till 300+kg of Roo hit your car like a boulder remember they can match your speed at over 80k/h, try driving at dusk/night/dawn between Bendigo and Denniliquinn and you might be wanting one, I've done it for ayear at one stage, dodging roos was not a once in a while thing it was every trip and you'd be glad if you counted them on the one hand for the day. I'm glad my commute is within town now, as on those two roads you can see accidents with each trip each way each day, with many a car destroyed by a roo.

i still don't have my car yet but this mod will probably be put on hold indefinitely. I don't need the aux lighting and i definitely do not want to drill in to the bumper yet.

I have to agree, don't block the radiator if possible. it doesn't look like he has a choice though. Those license plates don't really fit anywhere else.
