Unfortunately they discontinued the RS airbox seal, stated manufacturing issues. I was thinking the same thing, maybe call Velossa Tech and see if they have one laying around?

    Ahh, gotcha.
Really want to do this and was trying to figure a way to not have holes over the intake.
I like the Roush ones for best overall shape and they also have underside channelling which may help.

I question why they'd discontinue an item, especially one so simple, for manufacturing issues, rather than revise and resolve.

I wonder if sealing the airbox in that manner didn't have quite the positive effect they expected. Any reports of people having issues?

Are these vents truly right over the airbox where it naturally seals against the hood liner? I love the look but live in the Northeast, so water and snow are a legit concern.

I haven't seen any reports of issues with the VT airbox seal, I know @MorningZ runs one.

    .

No issues that i know of for mine! Seems to make a great seal forcing all the air to come in via the snorkel only.

I took the road less traveled, and that has made all the difference.

I have the Roush Mustang hood vents fitted. I do get some water in the engine bay, but nothing on the air filter when driving around. But when I wash my car I have noticed water sitting on or around air box. I've since fitted velessotech air box cover.

I'd be interested in seeing how you mounted these, can you share a few more pics of the vents especially the underside of the hood?
