    You can buy 2 Shorai LFX36 batteries for that price, granted they have 4amp/hr less. But still.

    Someones numbers don't add up, and I'm leaning towards Shorai. A battery at less than half the weight and only 10 percent less amp hours...... Their cold cranking amps seem rather high as well.

    How long was that if you remember? The LFX36 has a 180 watt hour rating vs 480 on the smart battery.

    Running the Shorai as well, not as long as Shimmer but no issues so far at a year and 10k miles. If you don't daily your car I wouldn't go more than 3-4 days without a tender though.

    I have the odyssey, only need to charge if it sits 2 weeks or more but I live in socal

    Been running the Shorai as well no issues.

    I purchased the little charger tender they offer and I use it all the time, I am away sometime but its' so easy...
