    Lack of pops and burbles

I've noticed in the recent month or so, (and I've been burning coolant, which is somehow not a concern to the dealer) that I'm hearing far fewer pops and burbles in sport mode (both in frequency and duration). Am I imagining things, or is this a symptom of a greater problem? Cheers.

I am also experiencing this. It started immediately after I got the car back from my HG recall. When it does pop, which isn't often or predictable at all anymore, it sounds very muffled and like it's coming from the front of the car.

I had my head gasket done April 2018, and the pops and burbles were stronger than when I had got the car. But in the last month they've been noticeably absent/weaker.

Don't worry, scrote. There are plenty of 'tards out there living really kick-ass lives. My first wife was 'tarded. She's a pilot now.

I don't think so. It's started to get warmer here in upstate NY, but I remember the pops and burbles being more pronounced during the winter and last summer after getting my car back from the HG repair

Maybe. I did notice I've gotten the drive mode unavailable once or twice even when the weather was nowhere near freezing recently.

Check your sparkplug gap, also drive in track mode. Track tends to pop more

Whether track mode pops more or not isn't the concern. That just introduces variability into the equation. And how could my spark plug gap have changed? I'm not sure what they did when they had my car a few weeks ago to address my concerns about the coolant loss.
