I got a quote and booked an appointment to get the rear seat delete carpet installed. Shop can't take me until 07/10/17.

$245 + tax. Not bad at all. Will post up pictures when I get it installed. In and out in the same day.

Are you going to install some sort of flat bed back there to haul stuff or maybe a cross car wheel/tire bar for track tires?
Take everything I post with an MDOT truckload of salt.

I haven't purchased a set of race wheels/tires yet (still looking). One would think that (4) 18" wheels/tires would fit laying down in the hatch area and where the rear seat bottoms used to reside. Put the floor jack on the front passenger floorboard and maybe bring the factory compressor as backup.

Finally got around to weighing my stock exhaust. Forum member Skraight sent me the weights of the ETS exhaust.

Note: My stock weights were taken with my bathroom scale. Your mileage may vary because of the scale used, where you cut the factory exhaust, density altitude, planet alignment, etc.

    Stock RS exhaust
    Downpipe + bracket = 12.4 lb
    Midpipe = 8.2 lb
Rear section with muffler and motor assy = 33.2 lb
Total weight stock exhaust = 53.8 lb

    Aftermarket RS Exhaust
    Scorpion Downpipe = 6.16 lb
ETS Midpipe with Helmholtz resonator tube = 16.8 lb
ETS Rear section without mufflers = 9.6 lb
ETS Over the axle section = 5.6 lb
    ETS Hardware = 1.8 lb
Total weight new exhaust = 39.96 lb

Weight reduction from aftermarket exhaust = 13.84 lb

I updated my 1st post in this thread to reflect my total weight savings so far = 112.24 lb.

I guess the door is cool and all but what's the main appeal for the swap? Is EUDM a thing now?

    - Sliding door to close
    - Adjustable rails to fit multiple size drinks
    - Secret compartment in the front to store stuff or a taller drink/bottle/canister
