Closest thing I could find is hatchbag made in the UK but it doesn't seem to have the same padding.

That looks like a nice option for transporting the pups. Let us know if you find somewhere to order that from without needing a german translator.

I sent a message to the company at: info@ridgi-pads.de, requesting a price and estimated shipping costs to the United States.

I need one of these. My dog likes riding in the car but gets worried at times when she slides or feels unstable. I keep the rear seats folded down for her and the cargo liner helps but something like this may make her feel more secure.

My message: Ich möchte wissen, wie ich dieses Fahrzeug Hund Pad für meinen 2016 Ford Focus RS kaufen konnte. Was wäre der Preis und die Kosten für den Versand in die Vereinigten Staaten.

I received the following message back from Ridgi-Pad:

Thanks a lot for the email, unfortunately we do not ship to the USA.

Do you have friends in Germany? For the Ford, the Car-Pad costs 175€ , -

    Tom from Ridgi-Pad

I don't see my wife wanting me to contact an old Fruendin for this transaction.

Maybe contact Dirk Müller directly instead. HAHA.

    I've been away too long.

You can just use a service that provides you with a mailbox in Europe, who will then reship to the US.

    This is just one example.

I'm doing my transport a bit different for the dog. Harness with seat belts. It figure it will help keep her from flying around the backseat when I go around corners at speed. It's also a safety thing. She's 55 pounds and could do a lot of damage as a projectile in the case of an accident.
I also bought a seat cover/hammock to protect the seats. It has velcro slit to pass the buckles through. I just got this stuff and haven't tested the harness yet. So we shall see how it works out.
