    Husky or Weathertech trunk/hatch liner

A bit of a stretch here, but curious if anyone has tried fitting a Husky or Weathertech hatch area liner? The Husky team ventures that it will be the same as the ST, but acknowledge they're not 100% sure until they get their hands on an RS. (Floor mats are same, right?)

Knowing that the hatch area loses a few inches of depth in the RS, seems like it might be risky to assume it's the same fitment as the ST. Thoughts?

There was a thread from the forums across the pond a while back about this. One guy tried the liner (can't remember which brand) from his FoST. It fit for the most part, but had a few ridges around the top that didn't sit flush due to the narrowed size.

I friggen hate the WeatherTech one I bought for my Volvo. So I'm going with another brand. The WeatherTech one is super thin and floppy. It slides around with my dog in the back so it always looks craptastic and non form fitting. Very disappointed!

I almost bought a Weathertech liner for my wife's car because they seemed to be the best known manufacturer for them.... But then I started reading reviews, and 75%+ of them said the same thing you just did. Went with a Husky instead, and we're pretty happy with it.

How thick is the plastic with Husky? Does it hold its form well?

I've been most impressed with the Maxpider mats lately. They have them in a rubbery exterior surface and a carpeted surface, both with very grippy back sides. Not sure if they have one for the Focus, but that's what I'll be looking for first.

It wasn't as thick as I was hoping for, but definitely more sturdy than the Weathertech or OEM mats. It came rolled up in a long box, so it had to sit overnight with a book at each corner to flatten it out. Since then it's held its shape well, though.

I was severely disappointed in the new OEM mats Subaru has... Her 2005 Impreza Outback Sport had a fantastic, heavy-duty rubber may in the back that was Subaru branded... I guess they decided those cost too much to make and went the cheap route.

I purchased the WeatherTech fronts for my ST and I like them. So I kept them when I traded in my ST. While they fit, I can only get one side to snap down. They must be off just a touch. It's ok, as long as one side snaps. The passenger side is fine. In reality, I don't think you can go wrong with either one!

The Weathertech site now specifically states that the 2016 Focus mats won't fit the RS.
I've emailed them to ask if there's an RS model available or coming.

I saw this and I can't figure out what they are on about. The Husky mats are a exact fit for the RS. Pulled them out of my friends ST and put them in his RS. Why wouldn't the Weathertech mats be the same?
