If the free driving school is part of the benefits package of buying the car, what will Ford do when the demand for that benefit exceeds the supply? What will they do about the inevitable hard feelings from those who didn't sign up within the first 36 hours and therefore didn't get a spot? I suppose they could completely waive the 1 year requirement and run the program for extra time to guarantee sufficient slots, but that would seem to imply running the school for an extra season (2 years past the final model year instead of 1), which might be more expense than they are willing to pay.

    Today's lesson: it pays to stay active on the forum.
    That's on FoMoCo to comment on, but when I was on the phone with FPRS yesterday pertaining to the guest experience fiasco it was mentioned ("whined" about somewhere on pages 6&7) a number of times to me how surprised/shocked they were at the response to RSAA vs the STOA response.

    @Lefty04LevelII

    From my earlier conversation with FRS the Guest issue mentioned is limited to only 6 guests per session. This is based on the transportation requirement needed to get personnel from one station to another while on the course. This includes two 15 pax vans with two instructors to transport the two groups around the track and around the racing compound.

    That makes perfect, logical sense from a logistics standpoint and having done outreach events for previous employers I can get fully behind that reasoning. But they should have been clear with this limitation on the RSAA website vs the site leaving the impression that all registering would be allowed to also register a guest.

    Though I did just bring it back up, it is water under the bridge for me and my wife at this point due to the reason I mentioned in prior posts. However, from the sounds of it, both the subtle comments within forum/thread and via my PM inbox, I'm not the only one annoyed with this unknown dilemma.

    But I guess I can say my plan will require the camera view the tach and speedo.
    Something that occurs to me just now is that the store at the track sold helmet mounted cameras, so they MUST be allowed. If you have a helmet mount, you should be good.

    Or you could bring a GoPro suction cup mount for inside the vehicle. Easy to remove when getting in and out of vehicle.

    @EvanRyan

    Contact FRS and get on the waiting list. If someone cancels you be contacted about the available dates and you can choose what's best for you.

    Or have someone try and hold your phone camera like I did during the Mustang ride at last years STOA.

    Also this is a peek of the track at FRS.
