My NB RS2 is going to become available

So I gave up. I ordered my car in Sept 2015 and it's possibly being delivered January 26, to Vernon Hills Illinois. Supreme frustration, too much reading, and a ?better? alternative for me have made me decide to drop it. I negotiated a great deal on a Mercedes cla 45 amg 2017. It will never be the icon the the RS is but it's faster (unmodded), a little nicer in the interior, and it's ready for delivery. My sales guy told me when i put the deposit down that it's refundable. I haven't told him that I'm dropping it yet bc I want to see if anyone wants to take it over. Im guessing they would honor the msrp. It's NB RS2, forged wheels, no moonroof. 2016. PM me and I'll pass your info onto the sales guy when I contact him.

    Sorry to hear this.

Iirc you're only a few weeks out now. But I understand, you've waited far too long.

Maybe reach out to your dealer and ford and ask for a Shelby demo car to Beat on until your car arrives.

Can't blame you at this point. 2017s are already being delivered with better infotainment.

Hope you have a strong stomach for depreciation on that Merc though.

No, that's not me on facebook.
I got rid of it because of this...

I'm not going to say the RS is a slow car, far from it. But It was not as mind numbing lay fast as I hoped tho. Top end leaves a bit to be desired. On track, it was no better than my e46 M3 and that's what I bought it to replace. As far as track cars go... I think I've got a winner.

I certainly can't fault you for that purchase. If the prices between the two cars were more similar, I'd probably be in the Shelby, too.

The GT350 should be awesome. My problem with the GT350 is I'd want an R (mostly for the CF wheels), and then it starts gets pricey. You then start comparing it to cars like the Grand Sport Z07. Too many good cars out there! Maybe I just need a Viper ACR for a daily driver.
